It has made it possible to be more connected, innovative, and productive than ever before by providing the backbone to run our favorite applications from online shopping, smartwatches, to AI. With the explosion of these incredible technologies has come uncontrolled and massive cloud costs with organizations unnecessarily wasting millions on the cloud. The skillsets of CPAs are the answer to help clients reduce, or optimize, their cloud spend and more accurately account for and understand cloud costs. ### Let’s start with the basics: What is Cloud FinOps? Cloud FinOps is a cloud financial management practice that uses finance principles to help organizations get maximum value from their cloud spend. Cloud FinOps is important because cloud computing costs can quickly spiral out of control if they are not carefully managed. Cloud FinOps is helping organizations save millions in their cloud without sacrificing performance or reliability benefits. ### Your role as a CPA Certified Public Accountants provide advice on a variety of financial matters to help clients make sound financial and business decisions and stay ahead of the game. CPAs are constantly learning about new tools and methods to help clients succeed, especially with the ever-changing technology being introduced into the marketplace. CPAs financial expertise and trusted advisor status uniquely positions them to assist clients understand and optimize their over-growing cloud spend and achieve proper cloud ROI. Our mission is to guide CPAs to become Cloud finance leaders and help clients eliminate unnecessary Cloud spend saving clients on costs that would have grown exponentially.
